Avantika Khattri made her mark in Bollywood as an actress with her debut in the Hindi film War Chhod Na Yaar. Prior to that, she had already ventured into film production with 'Beautiful World,' which is based on the 2016 incident in Bulandshahr and stars Amruta Subhash, Swanand Kirkire, and Shweta Tripathi, with Anurag Kashyap presenting the film.
As a film producer and her first time directing, Avantika's second short film, For All That You Are, won the Best LGBTQ Film award at the Top Shorts International Film Festival. The film features Avantika in the lead role as it intricately explores a revenge drama centered around two female ex-lovers.
Her talent was recognized when she received the Best Actress In An Indie Film at the Actors Award in Los Angeles, along with accolades for Best Woman Filmmaker at The IndieFEST Film Awards in the US, and Best Actress-Leading at the Accolade Global Film Competition. Additionally, the film garnered awards for Best Short at both the Mediterranean Film Festival and the Canada Shorts Film Festival. Avantika walked the Red Carpet at the 71st CANNES FILM FESTIVAL, where For All That You Are was showcased in the Short Film Corner.
In 2022, Avantika Khattri was honored with the Iconic Producer, Film-Director & Actress award at the Mid-Day POWERFUL WOMEN AWARD 2022, presented by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, at Raj Bhawan in Mumbai.
Moreover, she showcased her acting skills in an album titled Bottoms Up alongside Mika Singh. Avantika is also a seasoned traveler and has experience working as the COO (Chief Operating Officer) at Bluebody Creative Solutions, an event management company based in Mumbai.
